In 1981, René Carignant and his son Claude had an original idea that would change the classical way of visiting the Charolais - Brionnais by navigating on the canal.

But there we are, after many seasons, Les Canalous seduced more and more people, willing to visit a region differently. They realised it wasn't such a crazy idea and continued to develop their compagny in Burgundy and Franche-Comté first and then in the south of France.
